The Digital Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in guaranteeing the integrity, accuracy, and functionality of our proprietary digital psychological assessments. Working closely with the Digital R&D and IT teams, the Specialist ensures that all deployed tests adhere strictly to validated psychometric specifications and provide a flawless user experience.
Responsibilities Assessment Validation: Execute comprehensive test plans for all new and updated digital assessments. Psychometric Accuracy Verification: Rigorously verify the implementation of scoring algorithms, normalization procedures, and complex logic using documentation provided by the R&D team. This involves manual data checks and comparison against expected statistical output. Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and technical issues related to the test platform and specific assessment deployment. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all testing activities, validation results, and quality metrics. Provide clear, concise reports on assessment quality status to R&D and Project Management teams. User Experience (UX) Testing: Ensure the digital assessments function correctly across various devices and browsers, focusing on test flow, timing, and accessibility. Platform Collaboration: Provide valuable feedback to the Digital R&D and IT teams to improve platform stability, design, and efficiency based on testing outcomes.
Education: Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in psychology, or a related field. Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in QA, focusing on software or digital product testing, preferably in an assessment or online environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with QA methodologies, test case management tools, and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira); fundamental understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts sufficient to verify scoring output accuracy; familiarity with digital assessment platforms and online testing environments is a strong plus. Analytical Aptitude: Highly analytical, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to detect subtle variances between expected psychometric output and digital results. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with technical and subject matter experts. Language: Professional proficiency (B1 minimum) in English, Italian and Spanish. Native-level Spanish is highly preferred.
