Our customer is a leading Italian Industrial Group, with production plants worldwide, operating in the electronics, automation, and robotics sectors.

As part of an important relaunch and growth project, we are seeking a General Manager for one of the Group’s companies based in central Germany.

The General Manager will be responsible for driving the company to double its turnover within 3 to 5 years, establishing solid and consistent profitability while inspiring and leading the team towards innovation and new challenges.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all business operations (Sales, Service, R&D, Production, Supply Chain, Project Management) to meet company objectives
• Develop and implement business plans focused on profitability, cash flow generation, and sustainable growth
• Prepare budgets and manage expenses efficiently
• Define strategies to enhance overall quality and productivity
• Provide leadership and guidance to managers and employees in their respective roles
• Monitor staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment and retention of talent
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Services (Organization & HR, Administration & Finance, Budgeting & Reporting, IT) to secure the necessary resources for achieving growth targets
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers, directly supporting order intake growth
• Promote and embody the Group’s values and culture throughout the organization

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in General Management, Sales, or Business Development within German industrial B2B companies, preferably in automation and robotics
• Strong decision-making skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proven leadership qualities
• Outstanding communication skills
• Fluent in German, English, and Italian
• Willingness to travel
