We represent a solid international organization engaged in the distribution of premium products within the wine & spirits industry. We are seeking an Senior Export Manager, based in Germany, to ensure effective oversight of operational, administrative, and logistics activities related to the DACH market.
The Export Manager, based in Germany, will be responsible for the development and direct commercial management of the DACH area, with a specific focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role will ensure sustainable volume growth and brand enhancement across country-level and regional distributors, retail chains, and the Ho.Re.Ca. channel.
Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the direct distribution strategy in the DACH area.
- Manage and develop relationships with key distributors at both country and regional level, as well as strategic clients.
- Analyze reference markets, identifying opportunities for growth and consolidation.
- Support marketing and trade marketing activities to strengthen brand awareness.
- Monitor commercial performance and budgets, reporting directly to top management.
- Represent the company at industry fairs and events.
- Solid experience (min. 7–10 years) in Export/Commercial roles within the wine or spirits sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the wine market in the DACH area, with a particular focus on Germany.
- Strong professional network with key distributors across the country.
- Residence in Germany (mandatory).
- Excellent command of German; fluent in English.
- Outstanding negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with strong cultural awareness and appreciation of the company’s heritage.
