Position: MCC Controller -.BCN (Maintenance Control Center Controller)

Location: Barcelona – El Prat (BCN) Operational Unit
Contract Type: Permanent We are looking for a Responsible for the day-to-day control and oversight of maintenance operations. Key Accountabilities - 24/7 Point of Contact: Act as the critical link between the Operator’s MOC, Planning, and CAMO, managing urgent requests from crew and MOC related to technical issues or aircraft damage, ensuring fast and effective responses.
- Incident and Resource Management: Coordinate available personnel according to their certifications to resolve incidents with minimal operational impact, through corrective actions or approved deferments.
- Monitoring Delays and AOG Events: Record and track technical delays (IATA Codes 41-49) and damage-related delays (IATA Codes 51-54), and manage AOG events, clearly communicating status to the MOC and maintenance leads.
- Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance Coordination: Organize and supervise maintenance tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is consistently communicated to the Operator’s MOC.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Facilitate coordination between MOC, Planning, CAMO, Engine, Purchasing, Tools, and Warehouse departments to ensure smooth operations and the effective completion of all maintenance tasks.
- Documentation and Billing: Ensure traceability of all maintenance activities (scheduled and unscheduled) for accurate billing, and maintain a complete and organized record of all work performed.
- Aeronautical Engineer (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Experience in airline operations and knowledge of the aviation environment preferred.
- High level of English and Spanish.
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems; knowledge of EASA regulations, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety is a plus.
- Experience with AMOS and AIMS is a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, organized, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driving license and legal right to work in Spain
