Reporting to the Head of the Ratings, ESG and Capital Solutions Team within the Debt Division in Mediobanca CIB, her/ his main task would be to support team members in the advisory on credit ratings, sustainable debt structuring and capital optimization in the Corporate and FIG space, in order to provide value-added contents, contribute to deal execution and increase client franchise.

MAIN TASKS

Ratings and Capital Solutions:

-Fundamental credit analysis and ratings assessment of existing and potential new issuers according to main rating agencies’ methodologies (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch)

-Preparation of client pitches and rating books

-Update of peer/benchmarking tables

-Monitoring of industry developments and rating trends

ESG:

- Monitor regulatory and market evolutions, being well connected with regulators and market participants also through the participation to relevant international associations and working groups

- Provide technical and specific intelligence on ESG products to DCM, Lending and Origination both in pitching and execution phase

- Keep a close dialogue with ESG investors

-Creating and maintaining updated databases related to ESG Markets

-Sound understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis

-Financial modelling skills

- Multitasking and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication skills of technical matters, also in high profile venues (management meetings with top executives, conferences)

- Fluency in Italian and English

- Basic skills in Microsoft Office
