Position: Automation & VTS Integration Engineer
Location: Bergen, Norway

We are looking for an Automation & VTS Integration Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Norway. The role involves overseeing the installation and integration of automation, control, and VTS systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience in road and tunnel infrastructure is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise installation and integration of instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA platforms
Review technical designs, functional specifications, and system architecture
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance validation
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and telecommunication teams to ensure seamless system integration
Resolve technical challenges and implement solutions to meet project milestones
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols
Provide progress updates and reports to stakeholders
Organize and lead weekly site progress meetings and participate in DABS meetings
Education:
Technical education or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in construction projects (roads, tunnels)
Proven experience in automation and SCADA systems for large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and SCADA platforms
Familiarity with instrumentation and control devices used in infrastructure projects
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and functional documents
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience ensuring timely completion of automation milestones within budget
Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards
Valid Category B driving license
Good command of English
